The most famous product to come from IT Cosmetics is their CC cream. What is a CC cream? Firstly, it stands for “color-correcting.” A color correcting cream is an all-in-one cream that is an anti-aging moisturizer, it has sunscreen protection, and it camouflages any flaws you may have. It‘a similar to a tinted moisturizer and a foundation, all mixed in one.
In my partnership with IT Cosmetics, I’ve been able to access their amazing CC cream. I’ve got to say, in terms of makeup and skincare, it is life-changing. I’d love to explain the main benefits of using a CC cream. It’s something that is a must, underneath your makeup or just all by itself.
Anti-Aging Moisturizer
One of the biggest pillars of a CC cream is its anti-aging and skincare benefits. For example, the IT Cosmetics CC cream contains “hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, vitamins.” Totally sounds like a night cream serum? One of the best practices in your makeup routine is to have a foundation that has skincare benefits. In this case, the benefits outweigh the cost.
Sunscreen Protection with SPF
I cannot stress how important it is to wear sunscreen. It protects your skin from sun damage and slows down the signs of aging in your skin. Looking tan is great but getting tanned, not so much. Tanning initiates your aging process at an accelerated rate, that it is alarming. Sunscreen is what helps saves the day. Any cream or makeup product with the added boost of SPF is a winner in my books
Full-Coverage Foundation
Now obviously, a full-coverage flawless look is what we are all aiming for. And with the moisturizing anti-aging properties put in a CC cream, the full-coverage usually looks more natural and luminous. It really goes on perfectly. It looks like “your skin but better.” Some people don’t like full-coverage, but that’s usually when there are problems with the product. Like if it goes on too cakey or is too thick. But with a good product, most people don’t mind full coverage.
If you’ve never tried a CC cream before, it is literally a dream.
