I remember the summer when one of my best friends bought me an amazing eyeshadow palette for my birthday. I'm talking about Urban Decay's Naked3. It has since become my ultimate favorite eyeshadow palette. This 12-shade palette, has just the right amount of shimmery rose golds and sparkly neutral browns that give a flattering finish.
However, when it was time to replace the product, I went to Urban Decay's website and realized that the palette came with a hefty price tag of $54. Not bad for a high-end brand, but a little too much for this thrifty chica. This began my hunt to find a drugstore dupe for this palette.
I was in luck.
I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to find a cheaper option, but I guess the rose gold eyeshadow palette has definitely hit it off in the cosmetic industry. There are quite a few out there, but I will highlight four of the budget-friendly options.
This is the version I'm really into right now. Revolution Beauty's Iconic 3 is the best thing after Urban Decay's Naked3. If you are looking for the best dupe, this 12-shade eyeshadow palette is the one. Also known as Makeup Revolution, Revolution Beauty is a British cosmetics company that has recently started selling their products in the USA, through Ulta. I love that most of the colors have a little shimmer in them and the pigmentation is great. It is super high quality for the price.
They also came out with a new edition called Revolution Re-Loaded Iconic 3. The palette is slightly lighter, but looks just as gorgeous.
The Elf eyeshadow palette is the next best dupe. This palette has 10 different shades, that also look extremely similar to the Naked3 palette. The packaging is very sturdy. The pigmentation isn't as strong as the Iconic 3, but it is a solid option. I really like the selection with the lighter shades. Combined with the Iconic 3, this palette completes the full look of Naked3.
CoverGirl's rosy-used eyeshadow palette is their answer to the famous Naked3. This one comes with a variety of darker berry-like colors and lighter pink hues, giving it a cooler sparkly tone. This can be really nice when you want to change it up a bit. This palette has 8 shades and a beautiful shimmer. I think CoverGirl's TruNaked palettes are some of the nicest set they have released.
This palette is the most matte of them all. With the least amount of shimmer options, this is good for the girl who likes the barely-there rose touch. The color scheme is a little different than the rest, and it is the least pigmented. When I put on eyeshadow, I really like a little more sparkle and as a result have reached out for this one less often. However, it is a worthy mention and a beautiful 12-shade collection inspired by the Naked3 palette.
And that's all my friends! Which palette do you like?
Wow so good!
