IT Cosmetics - Bye Bye Serums Review

Sara Rozalina It Cosmetics Serums

Having been a part of the IT Cosmetics team this year has been a blast. I was really excited when they sent out some of their new BYE BYE Serums collection in the mail. One of the key steps to skincare is using targeted ingredients that are proven to assist our skin.

IT Cosmetics has come out with four different serums. I personally received two of them, which is the Hyaluronic Acid serum and the Vitamin C serum, as those are the two ingredients I wanted to focus on in my skincare routine. I will talk about all four.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that helps your skin hold onto water, and therefore keeps your skin hydrated. This serum has about 1.5% hyaluronic acid inside. They added some peptides and some Vitamin B5 (which is Panthenol), to help minimize fine lines and helps plump the skin by keeping it hydrated.

Vitamin C Serum

This serum contains 15% pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which is really good. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects your skin from free radicals caused by sun exposure. It brightens skin from dark circles, and it provides hydration. This is really good for fine lines and dark circles, especially when combined with a mineral sunscreen afterwards. They’ve also added the nourishing vitamin E into this serum.

Niacinamide Serum

Niacinamide helps with the dark spots on our skin. It supports the skin barrier and improves texture by making pores look smaller. Niacinamide (which is Vitamin B3), is one of the powerhouse ingredients you should look for in your face creams. It helps calm down inflammation and is very moisturizing for the skin.

Glycolic Acid Serum

This serum has 10% of glycolic acid added in here. It has been found that glycolic acid is an antioxidant that has antibacterial properties, and can improve your skin from acne. It can thicken skin by stimulating collagen growth. In this serum, they’ve added hyaluronic acid for good measure.

If you’ve ever wanted to try these ingredients but didn’t know where to start, IT Cosmetics has these four simple serums that you can try. They are pretty great and a little goes a long way.
