The word that comes to mind when I think of Eileen Lazazzera is consistency. Eileen is a Toronto blogger who runs the lifestyle site YesMissy. This beautiful go-getter is originally from Vancouver and always had a love for fashion ever since she could remember.
“I believe life is about creating moments and not waiting for them. If you want something, you should go out and get it! I feel like too many people let doubt, other people, or even the expectations of society prevent them from reaching their goals and doing the things that they truly want,” Eileen shared.
“I always want to believe it's possible to achieve a life you love as long as you continue to work towards it on a daily basis.”
Eileen started her blog YesMissy about eight years ago as an outlet for her creative ideas. “In my teens I would love to build websites, but I wouldn't start really blogging until later on,” Eileen said. “YesMissy is a lifestyle blog so it incorporates all aspects of my life, from daily outfits and the latest beauty products I'm using to health and lifestyle tips to live a better life.” Besides blogging, Eileen loves spending time with family. Eileen met her husband while working at a bowling alley during university. “Aside from blogging I love to work out, as well as go for walks and hikes with my husband and puppy Charlie.”
As a blogger, there is a lot of work-life balance that Eileen needs to navigate through. “Staying organized by planning out my days helps me to keep a good home/work balance. I also make sure to plan a little down time each day to relax, as well as workout. Both those things help me to keep balanced.” Eileen said.
Eileen is currently working on creating more video content and working on a website update. In today’s blogging world, it is easier than ever to gain inspiration. “I often get inspired by other creators, as well as my audience. I love hearing what they have to say and their perspectives.” Eileen said.
Her tips for other bloggers are simply to not give up. “As long as you’re making small steps every day, you’ll get there!”
